Measuring Wind Speed

After we made our flags, we went outside to measure the wind speed. We gave the wind a rating of 2 which means strong wind.

We use our flags as tools to help us accurately measure the wind.
0 = no wind
1 = some wind
2 = strong wind

We Saw the Spider

The spider was in the web. The web was by the outside door by the gym. He was in his web. He was black. Everybody took turns to look at the spider.

Making Flags to Study the Wind


We made flags with cloth. Then we drew the pictures on the flags with markers. We colored them in. Then we measured the wind outside.
