Here's what I think happened at your house!
I saw the news and I wasn't sad,
Because I knew you would be glad.
With one day off
You would be smiling
inside playing, laughing reading.
Then that evening
what a surprise,
Another day off
not too early to rise.
Now two days of fun
you had, Oh my!
But Wednesday there's school (I think)
so please don't cry.
